Contemporary design and historic architecture come together in the Wooden Atelier. A bright colour scheme blends in harmony with greenery and the artwork of artists Giovanni Pastori and Uros Mihic. This modern aesthetic contrasts with the wooden beamed ceilings and historic architecture of the 19th-century building.
The fourth-floor apartment, found by the quiet Sirtori Street of Porta Venezia, sleeps up to four people. It is equipped with high-speed WiFi internet, a fully-stocked kitchen, washing machine and dryer, cable TV as well as Moka and Illy coffee makers.
The Spaces magazine named the apartment one of the best homes to rent in Milan.

Beautiful place, really well renewed, super clean and comfortable. One of the best Airbnb I stayed!!! It has everything you need in a lovely neighborhood. This place it’s so well done with such a good taste. As beautiful as an hotel room with the comfort of being in a house. I would stay here again! 🙂

How to get there
You’ll be able to find the Wooden Atelier using GPS. Or feel free to give me a call on +39 393 5643501. I’m more than happy to explain how to find the place. There’s secure parking in a garage at via Melzo 6 (€25/24hr). You can also park along the street on the blue lines (€2/hr from 8am to 7pm, free at night and on public holidays).
By taxi: It takes 20 minutes depending on traffic, and costs about €15.
By tram: You can take the no. 9 bus (in the direction of Porta Genova) from the bus stop on via Fabio Filzi. Take the right side exit as you leave the train station to find the stop. Once on the bus, get off at Porta Venezia. It’s a 5-minute walk from there.
By subway: Take the green line to Loreto, change to the red line and get off at Porta Venezia. It’s a 5-minute walk from there
Linate
By taxi: The taxi ride from Linate Airport takes 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs around €20.
By bus: Take the no. 73 bus from the airport to San Babila metro station. It costs €1.5 and leaves every 10 minutes. From San Babila take the red line on the metro towards Sesto FS and get off at Porta Venezia. It’s then a 5-minute walk.
Malpensa
By taxi: The flat price is €95. I can also book a private driver for you at a discounted rate. It’s about a 40-minute ride.
By train: The Malpensa Express comes every 30 minutes and will take you directly to Cadorna subway stop in half an hour. From there, take the red line on the metro towards Sesto FS and get off at Porta Venezia. It’s a 5-minute walk from there.
Orio Al Serio
By taxi: The taxi ride will cost about €100. I can also book a private driver for you at a discounted rate. It’s about a 40-minute journey depending on traffic.
By bus: Take the Orio shuttle bus from the airport to Milan Central train station. It costs €5 and leaves every 15 min. At the train station, you can take the taxi or the tram (see above for further directions from Milan Central train station)
